Inverclyde Heritage Fair

Inverclyde's first Heritage Fair is almost here!

This will be primarily an opportunity for the community of Inverclyde and beyond to find out about the wide range of heritage-based groups and projects in the district.

More importantly, it will provide an opportunity to chat to people with similar interests and, in some cases, the chance to have a hands-on interaction with the past!

While the event has been organised by IHN, we would like to thank the staff at the Watt Institution for their support and contribution to this project.

During lockdown, we have been trying to maintain this inter-connectedness via talks and training sessions on the internet. The high point of last year was the launch of our new website. Its main aim is to be a source of information for researchers with an interest in the many aspects of Inverclyde's rich heritage.

Going forward, we hope to be able to go out into the different communities of Inverclyde to hear their stories and provide technical support for individuals and groups wanting to preserve their experiences for future generations.
